Berakah 4×4 Offroad Trail is a mildly dangerous trail that contains steep cliffs, hairpin bends with no space to manoeuvre or turn back. The trail consists of a track or rough rocky surface where 4×4 low range gear ratio are required, and a diff-lock is recommended.

Berakah Eco Trails 4×4 Offroad Trail:

• Mountain bike, 4×4, quad bike and hiking trail.
• Set in the Vredefort dome just 14 km outside Parys.
• Caters for the beginner to experienced driver.
• The trail is divided into eight sections and each section offers its own unique challenge.
• A 13km marked trail of varying degree of difficulty, passing through open savannah, bushveld, riverbeds, mud, water, hill climbs and scenic mountains.
• Entire trail can be completed in a day.
• Mildly dangerous, careful driving is advisable.

The 4X4 ATV Club is a non-profit club that provides it’s members the opportunity to partake in 4×4 driving and appreciate the great outdoors in South Africa.

Rust de Winter is the official camp site of the 4x4ATV Club, and is located around 100km north of Pretoria, in the Limpopo Province. The camp site is situated on the banks of the Elands River, with some of the biggest Apiesdoring trees, some over 300 years old. The camp caters for 100 permanent stands, and about 200 casual sites are available for day visitors.

The Four Wheel Drive Club of Southern Africa (FWDCSA) is located on 14 ha land off the R511, in Doornrantjes. The Club offers a variety of facilities, including off-road trails and obstacles, a clubhouse, braai and picnic facilities, a swimming pool and play area for kids. The lapa, clubhouse and/or grounds can be hired for business or private functions at a fee.

Adventure 4×4 Acadamy offers training courses for most 4×4 vehicles,  in the Eastern Cape and Gauteng. Courses include theory as well as practical driving. Practical training include various terrain conditions, and theory include how to operate your vehicle, safety and recovery equipment, vehicle stall starts, suspension and drive train systems, how to use diff locks, ascends and descents, water crossings, and conquering obstacles.
