Grootwater is located about 50km from Ellisras (Lephalale), Limpopo, in the beautiful unspoilt nature of Poer se Loop, a river that runs through the Waterberg Mountains.

Grootwater has 3 big and 3 smaller dams, with scenic views and unspoilt nature. Activities include hiking trails, 4 x 4 routes and a quad track.

Grootwater accommodation:

• Vaalbos Camp – equipped chalets, bring only bath towels, toiletries, toilet paper and dishwashing liquid.
• Bush Camp – non–equipped, selfcatering, own bedding and utensils, three chalets with an ablution block and lapa.

Grootwater is situated in the Limpopo Province, about 50km from the town of Ellisras (Lephalale). The campsite is located on the shady banks of the Poer se Loop river, and there are 3 large and 3 small dams on the property. Other accommodation include the Vaalbos Camp with equipped chalets, and the Bush Camp with non-equipped chalets.

Activities include 4×4 routes, quad biking, mountain biking, hiking trails, and bird watching. Row in a canoe on one of the dams, make use of the swimming pool, or enjoy some bird watching.

Naauwkloof Game Farm is located in the Waterberg Mountains, with it’s headquarters based in Pretoria. Most of the roads on the farm are only suitable for utility and 4×4 vehicles, and activities include three 4×4 trails, ranging from easy to difficult.

Naauwkloof Game Farm accommodation:

• Chalet built from rock, overlooking the valley.
• Tent Camp – luxurious tent that sleeps four with bathroom and kitchenette, close to the guest house and overlooking a watering hole, braai facilities, and gas is used for cooking, refrigeration and hot water purposes.
• Mountain Camp – about 4 kilometers from the main accommodation units, consists of a lapa, kitchenette (with basic utensils) and ablution facilities, with hot water available by means of a combustion stove.

Mabote (small strong river in Sotho) is situated on the farm Groothoek, which is situated about 64km West from Potgietersrus (Mokopane) in the Limpopo Province.

Mabote 4×4 Routes & Activities:

• 4×4 Route – maps  provided and guests drive in their own time. A fee is charged for vehicle recovery.
• Walking trails to waterfalls – moderate fitness is required.
• Angling and canoeing – canoes and life-jackets are provided while fishing gear and bait are not (water activities are dependant on the rain season).
• Bird watching
• Scenic drive to look-out point, 20km – Bakkies only.

Mabote Accommodation:

• Main Camp – self catering, accommodates 12 guests, 3 separate huts, two fully equipped kitchens with gas burners and refrigerators, a deck with a view of the river, clean and comfortable ablution facilities with two hot water showers, and three modern flush toilets.
• The Koko Chalet – self catering, six guests, fully equipped kitchen, large fire place, no electricity, battery operated lights.
• The Berg Camp – self catering, choice of ten different campsites, own tents and/or caravans, firewood, dish washing soap, dish cloth and other necessities, boma, ablution facilities with two hot water showers and two flush toilets.
• Camp Etsebet – open spaces under trees for tent or caravan, own tent/caravan, wood, water and ablution needs.
