The 4X4 ATV Club is a non-profit club that provides it’s members the opportunity to partake in 4×4 driving and appreciate the great outdoors in South Africa.
Rust de Winter is the official camp site of the 4x4ATV Club, and is located around 100km north of Pretoria, in the Limpopo Province. The camp site is situated on the banks of the Elands River, with some of the biggest Apiesdoring trees, some over 300 years old. The camp caters for 100 permanent stands, and about 200 casual sites are available for day visitors.

The Four Wheel Drive Club of Southern Africa (FWDCSA) owns a 14 ha area in Doornrantjes, Base 4, with a Clubhouse and other facilities for it’s members. Facilities at Club 4 include the Clubhouse, lapa, braai areas, swimming pool, and more.
Four Wheel Drive Club:
- Base 4 – Home of the Four Wheel Drive Club.
- Club property – 14 ha area situated 800m off the R511 in Doornrantjes.
Members Only. - Open Day – club facilities at Base 4 are open to all – members and non-members (first Sunday of every month).
- A number of off-road obstacles for you to drive and test your skills.
- Complete the driver training course before attempting the more serious obstacles.
